I have a lovely chat to 2 yogis that join me in class every week. I am always so grateful when there is an interesting conversation about practice. We talked of the relevance of each yoga class and how it's always different. Well.... We are always different.... Every moment is different, there is only one … Now.
So yes we honour the roots of the practice. The traditional " (asana) movement method, most of what we do today is a hundred or so years old (not 1000's) although the practice of yoga is 1000's of years old it's not as we practice today, We are not in the east or practicing with a guru one to one. We are gathered together ‘adapting’ to how we are Now, where we are Now.... forever changing, as our practice must change . I find different ways to move, breathe, to drop in... coming back to traditional shapes as a way of gathering energy together I am so grateful for students that move inward with me. Have fabulous Bank holiday 🌺 There is No Yoga for strength tonight 🌺 due to lack of interest 💚
